About the Xiaojing Research Group
Unlocking the complexity and immense interconnectedness of the scientific mechanisms which dictate the properties and processes of the natural world is a major goal of the Xiaojing Research Group. To this end, we seek to acquire a detailed understanding of many systems and how these various systems function together to generate the observations and measurements from our experimentation. Have a look at some of our projects below.
OUR TEAM, OUR PASSION, OUR FUTURE
Our group was founded in 2007 with the aim of bringing cheap and sustainable clean tech to the fight against climate change. Born out of the immensely successful Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics (ACAP), our team of international scientists is headquartered at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Led by Professor Xiaojing Hao, our main efforts focus on developing new photovoltaic technologies and matierials. Our research endeavours can be broadly split into six specific areas, which have recently been expanded to incorporate our work on photelectrochemical hydrogen generation.
Hear Prof. Xiaojing Hao talk about the group's work on PV technology, as well as the supportive research environment fostered by UNSW.
